1% of Profits go to Rainforest Habitat Preservation
Ethics at the Core of Everything We Do
At Domestic Logistics, ethics are not an afterthought—they are the framework for how we do business every day. Our commitment to sustainability is inseparable from our commitment to act responsibly, honestly, and with respect for the people and communities we impact. We believe that long-term success only matters if it is earned in a way that is fair, transparent, and aligned with our values.
Integrity in Every Decision
We expect every decision, from the boardroom, design office and to the warehouse to be guided by integrity. That means telling the truth, honoring our commitments, and doing the right thing even when it’s inconvenient or costly. We will not misrepresent our products, our environmental impact, or our capabilities. If we make a mistake, we acknowledge it, correct it, and learn from it. Our reputation is built one decision at a time, and we treat it as one of our most important assets.
Dignity, Inclusion, and Safety
We are committed to treating employees, customers, suppliers, and partners with dignity and respect. This includes maintaining a workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; promoting equal opportunity; and listening seriously to concerns or feedback. We value diverse perspectives and believe that better ideas and better outcomes come from inclusive teams. Health, safety, and well-being are non-negotiable priorities in every aspect of our operations.
Beyond Compliance, Toward Stewardship
Our corporate ethics extend beyond compliance with environmental regulations. We recognize a broader responsibility to the planet, which guides our choice of materials, suppliers, and processes. We prioritize recyclable and lower-impact inputs whenever possible and continually seek to reduce waste and emissions. Our commitment to direct 1% of profits to rainforest rehabilitation is part of this responsibility—we are not only minimizing harm but actively contributing to environmental restoration.
Fair Partnerships & Honest Supply Chains
We strive to build fair, transparent relationships across our supply chain. We expect our partners to share our standards regarding labor practices, safety, and environmental stewardship. We do not tolerate forced labor, child labor, or unsafe working conditions, and we take reasonable steps to ensure our suppliers operate ethically. We will not knowingly engage in or benefit from corrupt practices, and we comply with all applicable laws and regulations where we operate.
Ethics That Evolve With Us
Ethics at Domestic Logistics are not static; they require ongoing accountability and improvement. We encourage employees at every level to speak up if they see something that does not align with our values or our code. Concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation, and we investigate them promptly and fairly. We regularly review our policies, practices, and impacts to ensure they reflect both current laws and our own evolving standards of what is right.
Transparency With Our Stakeholders
We believe our customers, employees, and partners deserve clear, honest information about who we are and how we operate. Where possible, we share insights into our sustainability efforts, product choices, and ethical commitments. We do not overstate or “greenwash” our impact. Instead, we aim to communicate what we are doing well, where we can improve, and how we plan to move forward.
Ethics as a Way of Doing Business
At Domestic Logistics, corporate ethics are not a box to check—they are the way we choose to run our business. We measure success not only by profits and growth but by the trust we earn, the people we support, and the positive environmental impact we help create.
My name is William Peters; I am the President and Founder of Domestic Logistics. I am personally dedicated to our corporate code of ethics. If you have an ethics issue with one of our employees, suppliers, partners, vendors or anyone else related to your dealings with Domestic Logistics, I want to hear about it immediately. My email contact is at the bottom of this page.
I, for example, don’t tolerate our buyers, expecting from our suppliers, kick-backs, finder’s fees, free meals, alcohol, hotel stays, vacations, apartments, hospitality girls, airline flights, transportation, sports event tickets or gifts of any kind. Let me know if this happens and I will put a stop to that immediately. Reporting this kind of activity to me is how you earn your position as a preferred supplier ahead of all others.
I am also very preceptive to people who are ethically challenged. Do not lie to me. I want to know about bad news immediately. If you find a product defect, accounting irregularity or missing inventory, I want to know about it right away. I do not “shoot the messenger” of bad news, but rather appreciate the courage it took for you to share the unfortunate news.
